Health information is in a constant state of change due to advancements in science and technology. It is often hard to know what health information can be trusted. Valid health information is information which has been researched and has a scientific basis.

The Beehive has partnered with East Carolina University in Greenville, NC and health profession students through the Office of Interdisciplinary Health Sciences Education to provide a forum for citizens using the internet to ask questions and have access to reviewed health education information. These future health professionals will seek answers to your health education questions using the latest information that is based on proven resources.

The question/answer forum is NOT meant to take the place of your primary care provider but should only be used as an educational tool. The forum will be a manner in which these future health professions students can learn to communicate with health consumers. Health consumers will benefit through having a source of health information that they can trust.
